Sharjah Gold Souk sees a revival of interest in buying silver and increases range of silver bars

ArabianMoney editor and publisher Peter Cooper visits the Sharjah Gold Souk and talks to MyDubaiMyCity.com’s Sandra Mergulhão about the future for silver prices. They find that interest in silver investment is returning after the sell-off a year ago with buyers from all over the world.

A whole range of silver bars is now available from 1kg to 500g down to 100g and less, not just the 1kg bullion bars we found last year. Premiums are comparatively modest with the 1kg bar currently selling for AED3,500 plus a AED118 premium. This is probably the cheapest place to buy silver in the world…
